hood mod

ok you know how our 2003 hoods have 2 ridges in them (one on each side) has anyone filled in the middle with bondo and made it look similar to a powerdome hood? it wouldnt be that hard. just an idea.

oh you mean cowl induction?? BLAH. I think one of the greatest features of our trucks.....its that dip in the middle of the hood. I think it adds to that "muscle" factor.

01-03 powerdomes already weigh quite a bit. a little more wont hurt it.

You're not kidding. I couldn't believe how much more that thing weighed compared to my old metal hood.

John....yea I couldn't believe the difference between my little brothers hood(same as your old hood) compaired to my HEAVY **** composite powerdome. !!

my whole steel cowl hood is heavy as hell, then I went to lift my buddies composite powerdome and it wasn't quite as heavy but surprised me at how heavy it was...

do 03s come with a power dome hood stock? or is it just considered a hood.

Should be a power dome... I know what your talking about... but i like the little scoop in it...

You would have to really sand and fiberglass good so it didnt crack
