Color match your hitch..
Well, I got sick of looking at the dirty black hitch hanging down all the time, So I picked up a can of DupliColor and some clear coat. Sanded, sprayed a few coats of paint and clear and through it back on the truck. Looks much better I think. Worth the $15...
P.S. I know I didn't black out my plate number, so don't tell me I should have...

Really? They are probably powdercoated which would be the super bling way to go. When I went to take it off to paint it, I noticed one of the 4 bolts was GONE and another had NO NUT on it... Lucky for me, or the boat may have passed me on the highway.
and yes its always good to check the hitch mounts out regularly to make sure everything is ok. that also another reason why i used Jam nuts on my hitch bolts and used grade 10 bolts. i wouldnt have any worries
