Well I really want to put a hood scoop on my truck. Going to flat black the hood and scoop. I came across this picture, and did some research to find out its from a GT. So the link below is what I may order, but will it fit my 99 ford ranger? Or will I need a different year?

So I did it! I just need to bolt it on tomorrow, and its set! Spent a total of $90 on the scoop paint and all. Not bad for a simple home project

 

Hey man I like the look! Got a picture of it painted? I've been looking at some scoops too. I found some smaller ones and saw that people would mount two on the hood. Looks good, but this one also looks great.

 

Yeah this is the final look haha. I just did the hood and scoop flat black, then the plastic i guess billet i think its called, silver. Probably going to get a silver metal mesh or something to make it look real or something haha
