Hey all, I am new to the forum. My name is Tim. I am currently in Afghanistan and I am researching things to do/add to my Ranger. It is a stock 2001 4x4 4.0 XLT 5 speed manual. I want to put a lift on it and I have found one and looked and done some research on it. It is a 4" Super Lift comes with everything except ball joints. I want to go this route due to the fact that I have neglected the poor truck for such a long time. It has 239xxx on it and I really haven't done anything to it. Its a solid little pickup. I know that I need new front end so why not kill 2 birds with one stone with that lift? So any thoughts on it? Also I wanted to do a flat bed on it. I am a professional farrier (horse shoer) so I do a bit of driving, but iam going to be switching career fields due to I want a retirement package. I love my pick up and my oldest daughter already told me that she would be pissed if I sold it because she has so many good memories in the pick up. So go with ideas if you guys think that I am on the right track... Thanks for any and all input!
