Looks bomb as hell man! Judging by your results I think I'll have to do this too!

Very nice! If I can find a spare set of emblems I'll be doing the same!

I've wondered about that product since it came out a few months back. It and the anadized "metalcast" smoke color paint as well. The first pics shown here look okay. Just looks sprayed incorrectly and splotchy. I'm sure with a fat layer of clear it'd look pretty okay. Keep us updated man.

I have used the Duplicolor metalcast on several applications with great results, mostly on bike parts but I did do a set of headlights that came out awesome!

I see what you mean about it being splotchy. But it's hard to spray this on without going too thick

When I did this the first time I noticed the splotchiness and tried to compensate by spraying thicker, bad idea, the paint did not stick very well and started to pool up.

It looks better in person, I need a better camera to try and show that, but all I have is a cell camera.

All this being said, I'm also not the worlds greatest painter

Not to side track the thread, but I had lot of ideas for niteshade back in my umm...."negro" phase. Emblems, and lenses namely. But niteshade turns green ontop of chrome. and well....I'm out of that "phase" now thank goodness! lol.

So the clear coat is dry, i didn't take any pics b/c it's cloudy out and you can't tell a difference

But now it has a nice even shine that looks awesome.

Maybe the sun will come out later or tomorrow and I can get a pic.

I really like the way they turned out

The sun decided to come out so I snapped a couple of cell pics

I know it doesn't look perfect, but I like it. In direct sun it doesn't look too much different from stock, but in the shade the tint is very noticeable
