I recently repainted my White 01 XL's grille black and did the headlight mod , i came across a local white and black bumper from an 07 online and thought it would look good on my truck. I think my current gray front bumper and valance look lame and black and white would be way better.

Unfortunately my camera recently went MIA recently so i cant show pics of what my truck looks like as of today but i have a stand in courtesy of Google Images lol.

So i guess my questions are:
Will the 07 bumper fit my 01?
What would i need to do to wire up the fog lights?
How much better would it make my truck look?

If the price is right i am thinking about pulling the trigger.

I don’t know for sure but it will look good if it fits.
If for nothing else, look for an '01-’03 maybe an EDGE unit with Fogs and do that upgrade, may even be a little cheaper.

The Fogs when on are great, they fill in where the headlights leave off, especially on with the highs, nice.

 

I think they changed the bumper mounts but I am pretty sure it was before the 01 you have now. I know others have swapped bumpers and I would like one day to swap mine for a different year.

 

Yes the 07 bumper will fit. You will need the bumper brackets for mounting.

You can check and see if you have the wiring for the fogs but if not I believe you can buy the wiring off of rockauto.com or another site.

And it would look a lot better then the current. Here is one another member just did.
