Possibility of installing a six speed?

Just pondering what the easiest way of getting six gears in a ranger would be

go to hmotorsonline. buy f22c complete for $4500. pick up in sanfernando fofree. install 9k redline, vtec, 240hp and 240ftlbs tq and six gears at one time.

Put a Tremec 3650 in it. It'll only cost around $3K.

Why, it's not horribly geared, other then 1st being a tad high.

yeah at least with my truck OD could be a little less of a terd, its really freaken low the high ways around me are graded pretty steep so i can barely use the damn gear

Well yes, first is too high. that wears the clutch and reduces towing power
but also highway fuel efficiency would be much better with a 6th gear

Obviously im just toying with the idea though

I know this thread is gettin old, but put an electric overdrive in. My gpa had a Fiat with an electric overdrie and itd run 160 mph
