New taillights - which ones?
I think I found the tails I like. I have not done the headlight mod yet, but with black tails, it will come in the spring.

The last set of tails are ok, but still look to ricey to me. I would at least get the set of the black ones with the red lenses.

i don't like the white halo that it leaves... it looks kinda messed up...
you also have to remember what colour your truck is, and what not, i don't think you can do the headlight mod on a 95...
take a look at these headlights, with these tails though...

i think they would match, so if you could get some 00+ headlights on there... DO IT! i don't know what it would take... i would check ebay, see if they have 00+ STYLE headlights made for yours...
the other thing, is the tails i posted right above... if you were to give it a light coat of night shade, it would take a lot of the rice out (i know i am repeating myself)

thanks, this truck i have is 18 years newer than my previous newest vehicle, they didn't have 3157 bulbs on them... i just assumed it still used 1157, and that they would be the same
you can however always run 3157 LED's... which can be found on ebay, generally around $20 shipped, for 2 bulbs...
shmah! although these would not work for brake/turn, but on the 3 light bulb trucks (like yours), it should work for the turn bulb (on off function)

if you are planning on buying these, i would recommend getting as many LED's in them as possible, i bought a set for my bike, that were 12 led's and they just weren't bright enough for me... i buy ones that have 52LED's in them, although i can't find them now...
moral of the story, more leds are better, even if they are more expensive, and make sure that you get ones that the light projects out the sides (a ring of LED's that point outwards)
my other lesson on LED's would be, if you are going to see red, make sure you buy a red led bulb, regardless of the colour of the lens. The reason of this is all lights are set to put out a certain light amount, lets say 20 units, incandescent, if you put a white incandescent light into a red lens, the red lens will take approx 60% of the light (all of the colours other than red) which will leave you with around 8 units of red light. if you were to use a red incandescent bulb, this would happen on the coating of the bulb, and the light that gets through and hits the inside of the red lens is around 8 units, and the red lens (as they will never be the exact same shade of red) will take off another approx 10%, so now your down to about 6-7 units... much dimmer...
now with LED's because when you use a white, you emit the same 20 units from a white bulb, and then through the red filter (lens) it drops by 60% down to 8 units, just like with the white incandescent bulb. BUT when you use red LED lights, the actual light does not create a white light, it is red, granted it will emit a slightly lower amount (18 units) which is filtered only by the lens, which is also red, (due to the difference in the shade of red, 10%ish) so we are looking at roughly 14-16 units at that point, which is all the way through everything, so a red LED light, through a red lens, would emit more light, than a white incandescent light through a red lens... (red LED through a clear lens will work much better though, roughly 18 units)

I was thinking about getting a pair of these. I'd put the chrome 3157's that burn Red (Stop/Signal) and the ones that burn white for the reverse. They would match my black head lights/corners with chrome bulbs.
Only problem would be, what to use the center hole for. I'm running a 2 bulb set up. I've seen a similar pair that come with a bulb/harness for the center slot. Could I just tap into my existing harness and make it a running lamp?
Those L122R's look awesome too, lot's of light output!!
