Let the paint dry over night. Just finished the clear coat...

Will get pics up later of it on the truck.

One thats the same color (or at least not yellow) would make it a lot easier.

Just a thought… what if you removed the horizontal bars and filled in with some honey comb material or smaller vertical bars like a billet grille, leave the big vertical bars ?

You could support the inserts (whatever you use) with 1” aluminum angle.

just thinking out of the box.

look’n good.

You can't remove the bars. It will leave holes in the grille where they meet the sides. Would look like crap.

FIBERGLASS, a little tapering on the edge of the left over “holes” and wham bam thank you mam, you got something different.

Once the bar is gone and the verticals are finished and repainted, AGAIN !
the left over openings (3) will look good, especially filled in with some sort of grille work.

There is another guy on this site that took the grille type that has the main center horizontal bar, he removed the vertical bars, filled in with a mess of some kind and it looks really good, this one will be a little different from that.

Let start today thinking out of the box.

I __________, pledge to, etc, etc.

Ya! I like that a lot! Thanks a lot! Now the challenge is going to be finding a bumper. The local self pull junk yards only have older rangers -_-.

I say paint it all Black. I am in the process of doing it myself on my truck. I painted the wheels (cheap alternative instead of new wheels), All plastic exterior parts and have waited to do the grill and chrome bumpers. I will get a few pics for ya all.

This grill will only fit 98-2000 Rangers.
