Power Steering Idea/Question

New to this forum.. just got a 94 ranger 2x4 with the 2.3, only thing wrong with it was the power steering. I'm having problems finding a little "s" shaped metal line and was wondering about a complete bypass for it until I can find the line that I need. I've heard that you can do that by just connecting the pressure line to the return line. I'm not sure if/how this works on the specific ranger I have, so I was wondering if I could get some input.
Thanks!

What do you mean by s shaped line? Are you talking about the return line?

Here are replacements for both lines. Double check the part numbers to make sure they fit.

Thanks for the welcome and replies fellas. The "s" shaped line, you can see it coming in/out of your gearbox if you look above your driver side tire if its small enough to see over :P

I also replaced the return line already, it may just be the pressure line I'm looking at. I'll just replace that one too! thanks
