Question regarding larger tires and power steering pump

Hey everyone. I didn't see any specific thread about this (other than this one: https://www.ranger-forums.com/showth...g+pump+upgrade) and was hoping to get some collaborative feedback

I wanted to know if the guys/gals running larger tires have noticed any negative steering rack or pump effects. I was planning on getting either 15x8 or 16x8 rims next year with some Duratracs (either 265 or 285...unsure yet). I wanted to know if there was an upgraded pump that people get to prevent any excess wear on the OEM system, or if any rack issues are present with the added stress of larger/heavier tires.

The stock will be fine. I ran 33's for a long time and had no problems.

Ok, cool. I'll keep the fluid "new" as much as possible (just filled it with Amsoil ATF after sucking out the old crap), so that should help the life of the parts. Thanks for the quick reply.
