Don't mock the pvc, my pvc roll cage is awesome and only cost me 100 bucks to make!

im building a pvc roll bar

but it isnt staying in my truck, im making it to fit and make sure its perfect then take note of the measurements and bends and then make a REAL roll bar that actually connects to the frame

and the only reason im making a pvc mock-up is because there was a bunch of it lying around after the plumbing was done

EDIT: i know old thread didnt even look at the date on it

I've seen a ranger many times around my area with a black pvc rollbar, looks terrible, we
call it poop pipes.
IDK about wind flexing pvc, it is pretty sturdy.

Parts needed:

2 wye's
2 90's
10' stick of 3" sch40.
You'll need primer and glue.

dude.. are you kidding it would be an even bigger embarrassment on the trail... thats where everything you have you want it to be as strong as it can be.. not plastic ****.

its not a bad idea, but it would look really cheap
even the bolt on ones still aren't strong enough even if bolted to the frame its pretty thin tubing.. but better than PVC for mounting lights..

Man, just drop the extra money and have one made/build one that will last.. just my $.02 but i've done plenty of stuff the fast way before and its all coming back to bite me in the ***

why stop there. Get a coffee can and weld it up as either your awesome 10 inch exaust tip, or that Maxwell house flowmaster muffler.

if you do this mod, be sure to keep it a secret to avoid severe ball-busting

I wonder when fabbing the pvc roll bar/cage do you use the plumbers adhesive or do you just use drywall screws. hey, why not both.
