Definately I'd go with Chrome. Also, where the heck are you finding a rollbar? I've always wanted one, but I cannot find any on the internet(maybe I'm a bad looker). I also have a stepside, which makes it harder :(

go with black, chrome is a beotch if it rusts and with black in 2 years when it starts rusting you can re-powder coat it or bed liner it. I am leaning towards a custom roll bar next time around

go with chrome. if it rusts, paint it black then!! chrome will look good with your color, but will look hillbilly if youre not lifted IMO. plus all they do is take up space in the bed.

~ it may be helpful to consider what kind of overall look you might go for in the long run, as far as other accessories go. i think having consistently colored accessories is good taste. for example, on my red jeep rubicon i went with black and stuck with it. it really makes a clean look overall. plus, IMO chrome on a jeep is nauseating.

~ indeed, consider the options when dealing with the small nicks and scratches that are inevitable. black can always be spot painted, or even sharpied if youre lazy or looking for a temporary fix and the blemish is small. chrome, on the other hand... well, cant. if you can find a good method to touch-up chrome, let me know!

~ 99% of the time, chrome will be more expensive. but then again, if youre like me, saving up a few extra bucks is worth going for a desired look.

either way, when it all boils down, it is purely personal preference. besides, who cares what other people think if you like how it looks?

yeah- i think im still goin for the black, it sounds so much easier to keep nice looking, and since i think a black brush guard would look great with it along with all the other little things ive got in mind...goddddd anyone wanna start a "help emily fix up her truck" charity? hm...didnt think so....

Black would be my choice hands down. I just prefer the look of it.
