I actually think it would look ok. The rocker vinyls would probably look better though.

And you could probably find a good shop that would do quality work. If you could find a tint shop in your area they could probably do it, it's almost the same technique as applying tint.

Painting may not be a good idea. Probably be pretty expensive for some graphics. What happens if you get some scratches

I personally think it would look very nice if you Line-X'd the rocker panels and the front lower bumper or w/e it's called. It would almost seem 2-tone, whilst still protecting your truck. And my dealer here said he'd do it for around 300.
