I think i will do that. I have a little money set aside for something like this. I would rather figure out if it works or not to save future ranger owners or tell them it works. We will see what happens.

I'm just saying, you think with all the members on this site someone would have figured out if that worked and a lot more people would have it.

50+ more hp? my ranger only has 160! A 30% increase in hp AND a 30% increase in fuel economy sounds a bit sketchy, and on top of that it reduces engine stress? The funny thing is it installs with zip ties and velcro.

You may have some sort of improvement in performance, but there's no way it does what it says. Go ahead and buy it, let us know how well it works, hell if it doesn't, they have a money back guarantee.

If it's not advertised by Billy Mayes then don't buy it.

I am not joking when I say this but I would be worried about it doing more harm than good. But hey its your truck.

my buddy gave me an article on those things and if i remember right all its doing is tricking your computer into thinking it colder out side than it really is and make the fuel ratio richer/leaner to make up the difference to give it more pepp, i think at the end it screws up the internals of your fuel injecters, but thats just my 2 cents, its your truck and your money you do as you wish, let me know how it works out for ya

Ah youth...

Ok fellers here is a word to the wise. When a company is reputible they will give you a name, phone number, and address in which to contact them by.

Take a look at thier contact info and then make your decision.

x2 may do something but not the 50 hp gain they are claiming...if it could would be more than $70 especially on a vechicle that has about 200hp stock....list of parts of what this comes with sounds very much like the ebay chip, sounds like the resistor mod to me
