Beach! Wha else?

 

i dont get a spring break from my college all i get is a couple days waiting for new classes to start so no beach for me. I might do the polar bear plunge in the ohio river if it snows or get cold enough lol.

Gahhhh bad day,,

Started off the day with a nice 75mph in a 60 speeding ticket via Grapevine PD,,

Slammed on my brakes from 45mph to avoid hitting a black F150 with a trailer that decided to turn from the opposing traffic, came within about a foot of totaling my truck,,

Some rich ***** in Colleyville almost wrecks my truck, she thinks she has more the right of way coming out of a parking lot then I do coming in,, apparently having a gizzed up camry with a L on it makes you better,,

The ford dealer ordered the wrong part and now I have to wait till Monday to put my interior back together..

Overall today just sucked,, now I have to sit online for 6 hours and listen to defensive driving course of EVIL!!

 

hmmm i think im just going with my gf to go kayaking and fishing or something.Fl's spring break sucks.When you live here its hella anoying.PPl going crazy all night long!!no care for ppl that need to wake up in the morning!

 

work, finding a new job, and more work

 

well my spring breaks this week... worked mon-tuesday. since it rained all day today the rest of the weeks gonna be slow (Farmers dont need nothin when the cant do anything) so im goin to my granparents for a couple days, pickin up my jet ski, visitin an old friend, and goin out with an old 'friend' maybe get a fire goin...

 

I hear you man, I'm in Denton but I end up around Colleyville a lot, and it's probibly the worst driving anywhere in Texas, save for I-35 through Dallas... Everywhere you look, soccer moms tearing around in Exeditions and Excursions, cutting people off and wrecking chaos... One time right outside of Colleyville Heratige I was just driving down the road, and a lady pulled out and started to turn left, compleatly cutting me off with literally about 30 feet to stop from 45 mph, and I slammed down on my brakes and threw the wheel to the right and started to skid (though semi-controlled) out of her way, and her stupid reaction was to slam on her brakes when she noticed me and stop blocking both directions of traffic... Well my truck ends up sideways in the road, about 8 inches from a parked car and she comes running out and starts sobbing and I roll down my window and she starts in with the whole I'm so sorry I didn't see you, I just got the SUV two weeks ago and it's a lot different... I was just like, ma'am, I saw you look at me, we made eye contact, so don't use the I didn't see you excuse with me... It was bad...

 

Wow sounds like a fun filled week. My spring break was last week.. and I just mainly worked, and did one beach run.

Oh well theres always summer to get more work done on the truck.

Hows that A pillar going and the new grab handle?

 

I have work till Friday then I'm off till the 23rd. First week of Trout fishing here. Every year I take this same week, just to fish by myself to regain my sanity and to take the kids fishing a time or 2. But this year I also plan on installing my shocks, coil spacers, tranny cooler, skid plate(if it gets here in time), seafoam and if I have the time my new tires along with an alignment.



Oh yeah I forgot about the BEER!

 

Updates:

1st: The skidplate, the alloy was lost by UPS and took until last week to get a replacement, and this weekend my friend is going to weld it together for me.
2nd: Have not painted my bumpers yet mostly bad weather on the weekends
3rd: Grab handle installed and used daily(pic coming soon)
4th: Tile is complete
5th: Dont have $$$$$ to replace them yet, waiting on graduation money to overhaul my suspension and seats.
