They are pretty neat, but starting @ $710 ?!?! You could probably have a fab shop make you one for alot less.

there nice but i bet $ they dont make them for rangers.. and you could fab up your own cheaper

How much you want to bet Zach? Look under the Availability page, they make every different set up for 1982-2007 Rangers.

lol yah the first thing i looked for was if they made one for rangers and when i saw the price i decided imma wait and see how my buddy builds him and talking him into helping me make one for me lol. and fabing my own i can make a few different changes to it. so that will be the nice part. only problem with that tailgate is the loss of mileage im going to be faced with. myth busters proved you get better mileage with the tail gate up rather to down or not at all. but yah i want mine

ill pass, ill go for the $150 fabtech inbed tire carrier

love the look of those but deff cheaper to build your own, no myth to bust about that.

actually the best milage was with the net where the tail gate goes.. and there wasnt much of a difference...

well either way im going to try and talk my buddy or some1 i know who does fab work to build me one or something. but i doubt my mom owuldnt be to happy to have my tailgate sitting in my room or garage lol.

yah pretty much she thinks im taking my truck and returning it after my lease lol but i keep modding and way under my mileage i would be stupid to bring it back and honestly i love it too much to get rid of it.

I've been thinking about those lately since I removed my spare tire carrier. Making one will be my rout. I want it straight up and I want mesh screen on it so I can still use my tonneau and have the bed area secured.

im most likely building my own but im thinking of making it a dual hinge and split so i can put 2 spair tires.
