Throttle Body Cover Paint Job

So, I was just thinking today...what if I painted my throttle body cover red and made some plastic letter cut outs that spell VULCAN (in black) and glue em onto the the cover.

What do you guys think?

it would look alright, the glue might heat up and make the letters fall of tho.

I'd go to a sign shop and have some vinyl decals made-up. That way you can choose pretty much any font that you want.

Ya know...I was thinking the same thing...but the problem is, I think it would look better if I could get some kind of raised print, sort of like the 4.0's cover...

Do you think it'd look better if it were all flat?

what i was thinkin about doin to mine was cuttin out 3.0 on it and puttin some leds inside it so it lights up 3.0....

^Thats pretty badass! How much did the whole intake setup run you? and did you really notice any gains in power? Or efficiency? I might consider doing this to my 3.0L V6.
