Tuning....
ok so with the quality and performance you get out of tunners, they are probaby worth the 400$ to get one....
but heres the thing... why cant you just download/buy custom tunes and use a notebook to load them to your trucks computer? same principle basicly, and its not 350$ out of your wallet just for the device. All youd need from your laptop is just a OBIII or w/e connector...
does anyone make anything like that? or is it even possible to do?

you paying for the modual you are paying for the time it took Doug to figure it all out, your paying for his business. and there is alot more you can do with the tuner then just load the tune you can adjust some things...
and yes you can just use a laptop and tune you truck with a program but you have to then by yourself figure out the tune...

isnt it 50$ for 3 tunes or something though? so its 350 JUST for the device which SCT would get...
so if you can tune with your computer if you know how too, why cant they just make a program on a cd with the tunes done by the proffesionals....

I think it's 50 per tune, so it's more like 250 for the device. If you are that computer and tech savy then I think you should go after it and do it yourself. but someone like who would much rather pay someone i trust instead of hoping I get it right it is very worth it. now if only i had an extra 400
