I was just saying there's a bunch of rock crawlers and mud boggin' Texans around lol

for the average person who doesn't feel the need to break crap then yes, 2wd is just fine.

Please don't bag it......

Drag it. American racing rims, rear end lift, and neat checkered flags mounted on top of the cab. =P

Thought I'd lighten this up. But seriously, would anyone try that for me? It'd be a sight.

bwester, knowing what you owned before, i think youve got it covered already.

i would add the t-bolt side skirts to your list, but i would pick any rim other than a mustang rim. im just tired of seeing mustang wheels on rangers...

are you thinkin of gettin it?

I don't know, I miss not having a project and the ranger was fun to work on. The problem: I picked a car that already has a bunch of goodies on it, so to some extent it's boring Sure, it's decently quick, handles great, but "I" didn't make it like that. I know, I know what y'all would say- I could make it quicker, make it handle better, get into the 'euro scene'- but that isn't me. So i'm just brainstorming, if you will.

No I didn't take it the wrong way at all, seriously I was eyeballing one that carmax has.. 2003 Fx4 Lvl2, bright red with the red two tone seats and twin sticks. I just wouldn't use it to it's true potential I mean if I was back in Galveston it would be nice to have for running around on the beach with, but im in the hill country atm..

To me the truck already looks sporty and I would drop it a bit more. Its all in personal taste but that truck just says lower me.

I really like the way the truck looks now. If it was my truck, I would not change much about it at all. I would tint the windows, put a OHC in it, and stuff like that. I really like the way that truck looks and would trade mine in a heart beat for it.

What motor is in it? If I had the money, I would either turbo or super charge it.

Get out of here with that lowered trucks are crap BS. Obviously the original poster had a lowered truck and seems like thats the path he wants to take with the new ride. End of story no reason to say trucks are only meant to be lifted.

That's pretty much my take on the truck. It has the 3.0L but with a manual, so it isnt that bad. I would throw the same bolt ons that I had on my 2000- Nothing too complicated at all.

id say actually get the stx and enjoy it, especially being one of the few on here to actually have one.

cuz i know if i ever had the chance to really afford another vehicle, it would be an stx or some green stickered jeep
