I'v got one, the Nu-Image. It sticks on with glue on the back, like the gauges. Yes it lights up differant colors, but you have to take the green color thing out of the stock one or it lights up a dark blue, almost not even lite..

No, you have to take that off too, but the actual green color is created by a "lens" inside the HVAC control. You have to take it appart and take it out.

Hey I know this is stirring up an old old old thread haha but i just got that ac panel and man it sucks!! It doesnt fit up right at all when lined up with the holes for the *****. Also how do you take the green lens out? I saw it in there but I didnt even think to try to take it out.
Thanks.

I've done this on a couple gen II's but not as new as yours. but the easiest way I found was just pull the light bulb for the AC panel and overlay the white face panel, or you can take off the entire black stock panel that the light filters through.

I used a pocketknife to pop out the lens. It was pretty easy.
