winch in bed?

winch in bed?

ive seen winches on the front of some trucks, and ive seen some on hitches in the back...but has anyone mounted theirs to the bed on the inside against the back?

would like to see if its been done

What would be the purpose? The line would rub against your bed and tailgate during a pull.

i did that with my old truck i had a 3000lbs wireless remote winch i used it to pull 4 wheelers and dirt bikes up with it

I didn't even think of that, but why wouldn't you be able to just drive it in there?

pulling dirtbikes and atvs into the bed is different then wheeling and recovery. just mount it to the hitch. structurally, that is the strongest point.

freinds 4 wheelers and dirt bike dont run when they come over lol
