I added some 20w50 (1.5qt) bc I thought I was low. Over filled the oil and pressure shot up. I did an oil and filter change with 5w30. Now pressure bounces from normal to high. It will stay on normal for a while. Then go to high. It will sometimes drop pressure when I press the gas. This only happened after I added the 20w50. Can anyone help me.

 

Remove oil pressure sender, check to make sure its not clogged(sender should be next to fuel pump)
Pull Coil wire off the Coil, or distributor, you want a no start

Crank engine, this will pump some oil out the oil pressure senders hole, clearing it
Pull sender back in
Put coil wire back on
start engine

see if any thing has changed
