2001 std 4.0 trans

Looking for a manual trans for a 2001 4.0 4x4 ranger. I am located in central AR. But I do travel from AR for work (surrounding states and towards east coast and gulf coast.

You can used an M5OD-R1 or M5OD-R1HD from a 1990-2012 4.0l 4WD Ranger or Mazda B4000

2001 4.0l is an SOHC engine and had an extra bell housing bolt hole, which is not really needed, thats the "HD" in R1HD, so either trans is interchangeable between 4.0l OHV or 4.0l SOHC engines
1990-2000 trans didn't have that hole but all the other holes line up

These transmissions are also know as M5R1, or M5R1HD when looking

I've got a 2002 manual trans in an extended cab 4x4. Unknown mileage and condition as I don't know the history of the truck (bought for parts) but I could go have a look at the odometer. It shifts in and out of gears nicely. I'd help pull it depending on day of the week, etc..

Truck was sold to me due to the 4.0 engine blowing up. The transfer case I wouldn't mind keeping.

Located in central Illinois.
