Okay guys,

Yes these are still available. I'll try and get shipping estimates, probably tomorrow, have classes and a HUGE football game to watch tonight, lol. But the stuff is heavy so i'm going to assume around $30-40 or so, but I'll check it out.

Okay, these fit 28spline axles. Meaning it WONT fit if you have:
  • 2002 FX4 Off Road
  • 2003~2007 FX4 Level II (but NOT FX4 Off Road)
  • 2008~2009 FX4 Off Road (only when equipped with the "XR8" option - Torsen diff/31-spline/4.10 ratio).

Meaning, if you ARE NOT in the list above or have NOT swapped its corresponding rear axle under your truck, you can do this swap.

The reason why is this:
8.8 28-spline Ranger/Mustang bolt pattern:

and

8.8 31-spline LII Ranger/Explorer/F-150 bolt pattern:

As you can tell, teh bolt patterns are TOTALLY different which is why the swap won't work for 31spline axles.

Are we clear?

**Compliments from the Man, the Myth, the Legend himself 'Rwenzing' for the data and pictures above.

you could also modify the axle brackets to fit... weld the holes shut and re-drill them for whatever size you want

What soft lines do you have to run if you get the cobra vs GT calipers? Do you have the part numbers?

I used custom SS braided lines so i don't have any part numbers.
But any of the mustang lines will work. I saw one guy use 03 cobra rear lines, and are nice becuase they are super long becuase the 99-04 cobra had IRS. The lines will have the 3/8-24 inverted flare thread on one side, and a 10mm banjo on the other end. The 3/8-24 inverted flare thread will bolt right to your stock hardline on your axle.
