Selling my Cobra 19 CB Radio. Has PA output too. Its been a good radio, small and compact so you can fit it in a lot of different places. Comes with microphone and mounting bracket. Both radio and microphone work great. I've got another one on the way so I no longer need this one.

Do you have measurements of the CB? I'm wondering if this will fit in my expo center console rear vents

4-5/8" wide
1-3/4" tall

From seeing one at a junkyard I think it will fit but i never took measurements of the console.

I was told my a friend that CB's have to be tuned, or is it ready to go? The same friend is trying to sell one that is "illegally modded" I don't really know what it means. Something about getting more channels or something

 

I never got it tuned I just plugged it in and it worked fine at the dunes all i did was mess with the head on my firestik antenna. The higher end, more expensive radios do have to be peaked and tuned though. I mainly used it for the dunes and to yell stuff out of my PA lol but i got another radio on the way. Just make sure you don't "coil" your antenna cord...run it all like a maze if you have to but don't coil it up.

 

lol illegally modded.. guess wut guise, my truck is illegally modded glwts. I would buy it, but I have no need for one :P

 

What kind of range were you getting with it?

 

I really have no idea. At silver lake I could heard Rob from across the dunes when he asked where me and someone else took off to if that helps at all lol idk the size of the dune
