Complete Lightwerkz TL-R Retrofit for 01-06 Ford Ranger Headlights | eBay
These are headlights I had made for a friend's 2005 Ranger, but she lost the car before we installed them. I paid 150 for new depot headlights, then 950 for the Lightwerkz retrofit.
Included is everything you need for a complete install. Any questions about installation, or support after installation can be fielded to Lightwerkz. They can answer any question you have. (or ask me, and I can help too)
Thank you,
Marcello

I took a closeup of each headlight, link is in the first post.
Just from the thumbnail in your signature, it looks like you have reflector style headlights.
This retrofit is bi-xenon, so xenon arc bulb with a shroud that moves with your highbeam function. The brightest you could possibly have in your current headlights is maybe 300 lumens, in a random hotspot of the beam pattern.
The FXR with 35watt ballasts are around 800lumens in the hotspot, and 300-400 everywhere else in the beam pattern.
The light output and beam pattern is almost literally night and day.
I have a retrofit from Lightwerkz on my Miata, and it was a significant upgrade, even though oem headlights were already projector style.
Hope that helps.

I can tell you now that Lightwerkz does far better work than the idiot that did mine.
I've been really wanting a new set, but it appears this set has the original finish, mine we all black on the inside.
It's hard to see, but is there a shroud around the projector?

I don't think it's that no one wants them it's the price that's high. Don't get me wrong I know it's not cheap to do retros. I'm doing a 2nd one on my ranger. And LW does quality work. Having someone drop $800 on headlights for a ford ranger is a big pill for most to swallow considering the age and cost of our trucks.
To give you an idea. When I am done with my second retro, I'm putting my first one up forsale and going to ask around $250-300 for the headlights. You'd probably be better off asking about half of what you are asking. You'd get more bites.
Hardware alone not including headlights you are right around $400 new
4TR-L Projectors = $135
Iris shrouds = $30
Ballasts = $110
Wiring harness = $35
Bulbs (though you don't list which ones, I assume normal Osram D2S) = $85
*And that's assuming someone didn't get a sale via TRS on everything above which they just had a sale for 25% off $300+.. so take off another $100 from above. $300ish for all the hardware.
Not sure why you didn't go OEM for the headlights if you paid that much for Depo's? To me that's a big selling point but Depos can be had for $50-70 online, so you paid almost double for non oem headlights.
Again not trashing your thread but figured this might help you price it better. You aren't going to get anywhere near what you think since you paid LW to do the retro. If you did the retro yourself you wouldn't loose nearly half the cost. But that's what happens unfortunately when selling them even if they are brand new/unused.

I'm not sure what you are talking about with OEM vs Depot headlights. I purchased new Depos as the starting point for the 1000 dollar professional retrofit.
These lights are not only aesthetically pleasing, they allow the best legal nighttime visibility.
Lightwerkz also doesn't charge for repairs, these lights are under warranty for the forseable future, so that's part of the high cost of labor.
Yep that's what I am saying. You aren't going to get the labor part back especially selling it as new. That's just what happens when you get mods like this done.
OEM headlights are factory Ford headlights. Depo headlights are not OEM original manufacture. Depo isn't bad but you paid above price for aftermarket headlights when OEM Ford would have been better and cheaper. Again, not knocking anything but you paid top dollar for everything, and to expect to get anywhere close to that back is silly. Just the name of the game unfortunately with things like this.
I've used lightwerkz many years ago so I know their quality. Ceasar is great. My original point was that most "ranger" owners looking for headlights aren't going to drop $700+ for a set, hence why you've sat on them for 4 months now.
GLWS.
