I will do $325 shipped on this. $300 without the 1/0 wiring and battery terminals (alternator and adapter harness only)

Last price drop for a while, this alternator is well worth it.

you are referring to the large red terminal for the power cable correct? See phot below, it shows the connections on a factory and on thie alternator. This alternator includes an adapter harness to fit the factory plug. I looked at a 99 3.0 actually, that another user on here has, and it has the same connections as my 4.0

you can see the wiring adapter here.

This is the FACTORY plug. The single black/white wire is not needed on the DC alt.

The adapter plugs into the DC Alternator like so:

And has this connection to plug into the factory plug:

then wire up the big power wire, and you're good to go.

Oh ok, yea, I was talking about the single wh/blk wire plug that plugs inbetween the main harness and the cable terminal. I see that you posted that it's not needed with the new alternator so that answers my question, thanks! I'm kicking it around for a bit, but I'll prolly grab it from you. I could def use the bigger amps over the standard 90!

yeah I hear ya. Im' waiting on my new one since this one doesnt fit on the 4.0 The plugs are the same, but it hits my valve cover.

like I said though, I looked at a 3.0 personally, and it does have the necessary clearance.

The white black is just a loop back to excite the stator for voltage output..
Probably built in the new alternator and the wires are not needed.

This is hard to believe that it hasn’t sold yet.
There are people on the site replacing their alternators and no one is buying.
Price is really good.
You might need to setup a deal on returning if it doesn’t fit !

Wondering WHY ?
