any clue if that dome light is bolt in like the mustang ones? i've been meaning to get a new dome light because mine looks so cheap.

 

well i know in my truck(extended cab) the dome-light would not fit with the contours of my roof, but maybe it would be different for single cab...im not sure hopefully someone will chime in here

I don't think the explorer dome light will work with the Ranger.

I have that exact same dome light in my extended cab ranger and it works fine for me. Straight up replacement for my stock one. Although the seller said it was from a Mustang it looked exactly like that one. Works great, shines the lights into the driver and passenger footwells for the indvidual lights and illuminates the cab overall with the center lamp. A perfect complement to the map lights in the OHC.
