98 ranger reg cab explorer dome light and visors?!?!?

whats up guys i have a 98 ranger reg cab and when i bought it the dome light is broken no cover just the mtal bracket where the bulb bolts on. i went the the pull and pay here and there are acouple of exploders here in the yard and was wonder if i can use the dome light out of the explores and what mods do i need to do to make them work. i believe they have the visors with the lights on them also im thinkin of snaging them if i can make them work in my truck thanks in advance!

the visors will work. check out the how to for the over head console (ohc) for all the wiring info.

Dome light will bolt right in with no mods. I have headache after trying to decipher that.

i bolted in my visors ran the wire to my dome light and it dosnt work dose it need a gound and how would you wire in a ground??? i replaced my dome light buy it dose not work??? any ideas ? a fuse or bad connection?

how many wires are on your visors? 1 or 2? if 1, then you have to add a ground. the explorer doesn't have the little plastic pieces for the screws like the ranger does. so the explorer would just ground through the mounting screws. you will have to add a ground wire. i just ran a wire from the inner brace to one of the screws. used an eyelet connector and put it between the visor mount and the inner roof.

so.... where would i add the wire to ?? on the visor is there a spot you can slid a wire into?? to groung it out?
