3rd Brake light:

This thread is for a high power LED circuitboard powered 3rd brake light. The light connects into the factory location and has 2 wires that need to be connected. It has 9 high power superflux LEDs paired with an optic board to spread the light even across the rear of the brake light. These are OEM quality LEDs that won't die like the cheap chineese crap you find on ebay. This board far out performs the OEM bulb setup and it covers the entire surface of the red lense (unlike the OEM one which only lights up the center)

Advantages of LED
1 - Safer - LEDs light up instantly when you hit your brakes, as opposed to the normal delay you get when a regular bulb has to "heat up" before it starts to glow.
2 - Color - LEDs have a much more true reddish glow compared to the OEM bulbs.
3 - Visibility - much more visable than the OEM setup
4 - You will never have to replace the light again, this will outlast your truck.





LED Liscense Plate Bulbs:

These board have 6 LEDs each on them, they are a cooler shade of white (higher K rating), and have bridge rectifiers on them, so there is no "wrong way" to insert them into the liscense plate socket: The B.R's basically make the circuit have no polarity (a good thing). The color of the output here gives a cleaner more luxury look without the dingy look the factory bulbs give.
