Mustang shelby cobra rear diff cover, custom paint - PA

Well I went to install the prototype Shelby diff cover today. Turns out the 1 inner fin comes too close to the 4:10 gears, so I am not going to use it. I figure I would rather see someone use it than have it on a wall collecting dust. This is 1 of 7 prototype covers for the shelby that Ford made, Ford has since destroyed the other 6, so from what I am told, this is the only prototype cover that reamains. It has been painted Toreador red, silver metallic striping. This cover will be up for grabs on here for a week only, then it goes to auction. I am asking 200.00 shipped obo, shipping anywhere to the lower 48 US states, Priority mail with tracking.

I dont want to grind it down and mess up the structural integrity. Besides, I'd probably ---- it up and chop it in half or something

Thanks, I'm disappointed about it. I want to keep it BUT I want to use it. I may have to check some local machine shops or something to trim it down. If nothing comes of that it goes to the local auction house

I'll take your advice and keep it. My brothers business partner has a milling machine so he is going to mill the inner fins down!

Yea I'm curious as to what's so different and special other than the fact it was a concept. Also did you hand paint those fins? It looks amazing!!!
