Hey folks, does anyone have a set of stock speakers sitting around gathering dust? I'd like to take them off your hands if I can as a favor for my friend. Her (99 I think) explorer got broken in to and I've got a stock headunit for her but no speakers. I'm pretty sure it uses the same 5x7 speakers that come in rangers. Please let me know what you've got and how much you want for them. The budget is awfully tight though, so please keep that in mind. Thanks everyone!

I have 4 in great shape from my 04 edge. It only has 50k miles on it and I never listend to them above half on the radio dial. I just upgraded to Pioneer 3 ways so let me know if you are interested. I didn't want to throw them away so they are sitting in the top of my garage in the pioneer boxes.

 

I would have to find them. only flaw is i had to take the plastic grille off of them to make my aftermarket speakers fit right.

 

some of the explorers came with a Sort -of component in the back set of speakers, they are alot deeper and the sound quality is different, just a thought if your looking for OEM speakers.....ANY 5x7 will work! so good luck..i have a full set PM if you want them....Good Luck!

 

i would take a look at your surplus stores, we've got a place up here called princess auto, (the unique world of) anyways, they sell stock type speakers for like 3-7$ each, other place would be a damaged item place, like somewhere they send stuff if a shipment is partially damaged... so 1 box in a pallet is crushed, the rest are fine, but the intended store doesn't want the partial shipment, so they sell them off, the place up here is called XS Cargo same deal they have **** speakers for like 5$

 

i'm sure wal mart has a cheap pair

 

Yeh wal mart here carry factory replacement speakers.
