One of my company's work trucks was totaled in an accident last week (front end collision with telephone pole). I was able to pull both fender emblems and the tailgate emblem.

I'm guessing those marks are just on the surface?

The only reason I'm asking is because I'm painting them so I want to make sure that no scratches are gonna show through

(That also might be the reflection deceiving me)

Yeah... I looked at the emblems a little closer today. They're just spots on black that came off.
