had them on my 99 for a couple months before i was rearended and the 3 inch lift on the rear and the impact the volvo that hit me to go under the truck and twist the frame.

You don't "break in" shocks.
They are USED.

 

who pissed in your cheerios? its a description, yes they are used they were on my truck. They have less than 5000k on them so I would say they are barely broken in, they are in great shape. No need to have them sent out to be rebuilt. My experience with bilsteins has always been positive and these things have tons of miles left on them.
