Did a little off roading today and had a good time, really really want a limited slip or locker already, the 1wd sucks, especially in sand!




My mind is defiantly set on 4" of lift and 9/10 31's, but I'm still looking at options, basically just need the best overall in sand, snow and ice, can last a decent while and not loud as hell, what do you guys recommend? Also keep price in mind

I guess no more then $240 a tire? Tires up here aren't cheap, the at/3s and trail countries are $230 a tire. ko2 is like $210 all in a 31
I'm looking at toyo mt's for my next set. I've read good things about them in all conditions. Only downside is that they are a little heavy. You could also sipe the middle lugs for better traction in compact snow and ice. They will do ya real good in the mud, sand, and deep snow as well with a locked rear and some weight in the bed.

I threw in my .02 but at the end of the day it's your decision. I live in an area with a decent amount of snow every year. I also try to hit some trails with friends here and there and my mt's have never let me down. I have maxxis bighorns with siped middle lugs and they do good in compact snow, deep snow, mud, sand, trails, etc. I will never go back to AT's on one of my trucks unless I'm never taking it off the pavement. Then again if I was worried about noise I wouldn't have a flowmaster super 44 dumped under the bed on my Ranger.

All advice is welcome! That's why we have forums, my dad is the same with aggressive tires, I'd like to get the most aggressive tire for myself but it just wouldn't be worth it, i love to off road but i don't go out enough and i do so much highway driving so less aggressive is good
Yeah I get that bud, didn't mean to come off as a dick. For me it's like an 80/20 split between highway and off road. I just like having the reassurance that when I go off road, I have the tire for the job. And when we get a deep snow, I'm not worried at all. IMO the toyo mt is a great aggressive tire that will give you a good amount of miles. That's why I am looking at it next. If you're looking at AT's, the BFG AT2 looks to be pretty good. The duratracs also look good. I know few people that have run them with good results but I also know a few people that have hated them (including Shaun) lol

If you want a tire that is going to get you through some deep snow and do decent on compact snow/ice go with a siped mt. The mt will also do you better in the sand and mud. It really comes down to you bud haha. I've run both an MT and an AT and the AT did better on compact snow/ice, but as soon as it turned to accumulated snow the MT took the cake.

Quick questions, I want to change my cluster and hvac bulbs to leds, I want to keep the green and don't want to sand anything, just brighter!

Ordered a silver hvac panel, getting leds for it, my custer, headlight switch. Keeping it all green just want much brighter, also getting one for my third brake light since it burnt out, might also do my other brake lights while at it

Possibly getting a full length console(waiting on pics). a solid non sliding window(looks sick with a 5% tint) and almost got an axle, it was a 8.8 with limited slip but 3:73 gears

Snow and ice are huge things for me, and road noise. But i got lots of time to decide on that
Hopefully I don't have many then, does the newer style cluster make a difference for having hot spots?
