DOME LAMP

While I was in and around the headliner. I managed to work in my favorite Ford dome lamp. Picked up out of an 09 Crown Vic. Many vehicles had these from the early 90's onward.

Original dome light

New dome lamp

Hmm charcoal or light grey

I chose charcoal.

The light grey was out of a 99 Explorer

Looks good! Are the cargo lights hooked up so they turn on every time the dome light is on?

Yes. So now everytime I unlock my truck I get lots of exterior light for outside at night. Only drawback... My hard tonneau defeats the ability to have light shine in box at night since when it opens since it blocks it. Lol. Either way I like it better.

I actually like the STX on the regular cab better. But there arent any around and I needed a super cab for space. My mom had an 01 edge reg cab and it was useless. Once it's lower with rims I think the look will improve

Makes sense... you need some of those LED lights under the bed rail on a switch when you open the cover!

I was leafing through the A.R.E. papers I have at work and they offer a LED system for thier caps and lids. Not sure if I'll go that way. I usually have a mag light in glove box anyways. Something to think about. Maybe a solar powered deal or something. I'll come up with something

nice truck man. I'm not too far from you either. I live in grimsby. I agree with laz, we need to get a meet going sometime! keep up the good work, if i didn't have an aftermarket alarm system i'd probably be all over that integrated key system, I've never seen it done before, kudos

Nice! I grew up in Smithville. My fiancé is from grimsby. I used to work in town, and I have probably half my family living there too. You'll see me around.

WELL... do I update much.. NO!!

Not a whole lot to update. Parked for the so called "winter" and put my 98 Explorer back on the road.

I did pick up some 16" Y-spokes off a newer truck but waiting for tires and spring to install them

Going for the slight drop in the spring. 2-3" maybe 2-4" not sure yet

Roush springs in front
DJM kit rear
Bilstein x4 (eventually)

There was a server crash and we lost a lot of pictures. Not just your thread, but the whole site.

You could edit some posts if you were a site supporter but not being one you don't have a long edit window. You can just repost them if you want.
