I picked up the 98 ranger 4x4 that was rolled for parts (68,000 miles but the engine is siezed) and now I'm pretty sure I'm going to put my 99 2wd body on it. The 99 runs good but the trans has some weird shifting issues. I figure I have to get a trans or put it on the 4wd frame and pick up a 4.0 for it. The cost is pretty close so I figure I might as well go for it. Wil the conversion hurt the value of the 99? I already started stripping the 98 body and will have some parts to sell when its all sorted out.
