Well the truck is running like crap again. I think I have a catalytic converter clogged up. No codes yet and the motor idles good. But it's super sluggish and won't accelerate much past 40 mph. I'm going to take the exhaust all apart and see if that last cat is clogged with mud.
So while it's parked I started to demud the interior.

definitely big and definitely nasty. looks like a kot
title supposed to say looks like a lot of work but well worth it. looks awesome. well worth it when u see the finished project. I cheated with mine. I just took a 2wd ranger that was blown up and I took the body off and put it on a 1978 fullsize ford bronco, 351m bigblock, 4 speed with granny low and a 4 inch rancho suspension lift. 36x15x15 dick cepeck fun country radials on 10 inch wide chrome American racing wagon style wheels.

I like snow, sand and lawn jobs. Haven't tried sand in my Ranger. Its hard to find time when people aren't at the beach. Snowy parking lots are fun. Thinking about a partial snow mound climb for the picture of the week. Haven't entered that yet. Need to get out and shoot some good stuff.
Way back when. My first 4X4. I tried so hard to get good mud on it. Problem was I broke a few bearings that way. Tore the side wall of a tire. So my past experience was costly. So I use caution now.

Today
Going to try to get the help of my nephew. Cut off old exhaust. Go from CAT to a 28 inch cherry bomb to the muffler I have that has a nice medium sound to it. This will get rid of a pipe join I did with weld paste. That spot still stinks when hot. Got my blue tooth thing. So I can use torque pro and TSX on it. Bye Bye REV and MPH limitor. Can also choose a custom tune from there library for the Ranger. Nothing racing just a street tune. Make it more efficient.
Merry Christmas Eve ALL

This makes me happy. Pressure washed the seats and got them back in with some El cheapo seat covers. I've been riding around with no floor and only 1 seat for forever.
Pulled the rear end to have the locker installed. Pretty excited about getting rid of the spool.

Now that is really cool. That is something by far the Ranger needs. To use it in those times when you need less air in your tires. You need something to fill up to drive away after the fun is done. That install is huge to your truck!
It is the thing I only think of when I need it. Like sand crawling. Then to have that available for other trucks or cars you may own. That can save the day big time. Even in off road things. Could it blow up beach toys? I mean I almost pass out if I need to do that.
Keep up the good work. I hope this turns out perfect! Your project has me excited to see it to the end. Can't wait.

PS. You got Props From me. Happy New Year.
