Busted Audi = Custom Ranger Xenon Headlights

Well one of our Audi A5's at work was in an accident, not our fault, but insurance is replacing the entire front end...so I was able to pick off a few parts. The driver side headlight is completely intact besides the clips, and some small plastic shell pieces. However the passenger side was not so lucky, the housing is completely gone, but all the electronics are still connected and mostly intact. Here's a picture of what I have, and I plan on doing a custom conversion on a spare set of headlights that I'm going to buy. I do need to purchase a new Xenon bulb which was cracked on the passenger side.

This is going to be interesting.......

I do have to order a new bulb for the passenger side, its gonna run me about $72, not bad though. I have a feeling I am going to lose my highbeams, but Ill probably just add a set of KC slimlites in the grille. As for the projectors, the driver side is perfect, but it doesn't look like its length friendly for the amount of space I have to work with. This could get interesting.....I take that back, this WILL be interesting....

It will work, if anything at least it will be just regular Xenons, not projectors. Im buying an extra set of headlights to do it on, so what's there to lose?

you could always relocate the battery to the bed if space becomes the issue...

Do you need the D3S HID bulb? I have a few of those.
