Yeah the pickle fork wold work if it was about 2 inches wider so it could spread the joint a little... I got a suspension shop that said about 380 to install the whole front end....that reasonable for removing and installing upper and lower along with springs????

You're not tryin' hard enough to remove them the spindles. Thats $380 that could go somewhere else.

I would only charge you $250, or $200 and a case of beer.

I also found a pickle fork ineffective. BFH, FTW, and a jack under the control arm to hold it while you pound.

Edit; thats $250 for both front and back.

Thats not really that bad of a price with how much labor intensive it is for a shop to install it..

But i would still say do it yourself man..

Alright... I will look into a ball joint puller... I am leaving for two months on a exercise over in England and Scotland, next Friday the 19th... Guess all this is on hold till November when I get home... Sometimes the Navy just loves to interfere with my Modding... Thinking about taking the AC panel and other things with me to mod while on the ship.....
