If you want a factory gas skid, try contacting Ranger1, He flipped his truck a while back and was selling a bunch of parts off of it. I think he still has the factory gas skid.

You'll be better off emailing him, he hasn't been on in about two months.

Thanks... Yeah up front i rub on every little bump in the road. I am looking at moving stuff on the fenderwells that way i can pull the wheels up into the engine bay more. but until money comes along I will have to deal...

Trigger, thanks for the info. I am going to see what i can do about the gas tank plate. I only rub when going on and off the lifts and driveways... but can't be too safe...

how are you rubbing with those tiny tires? my lil bro is running 245/45r17's and no rub at all...and those are like 1" taller than your tires.

looks great dude.

Have no idea it only rubs on the driver's side... Its gotta to be that ranger lean going on. But i know i am rubbing when i hit a bump cause 1. I hear it and 2. I looked into the wheel well and the plastic has rubs all over the top.... Thanks for the compliments... I am going to get it cleaned up and take it out for some pictures soon...

I'm running 235/55 17 and I only rub on big bumps, but I've been doing it so long that most of the plastic is gone now. I need to rearrange my engine compartment, 'cause I really wanna tuck tire. The truck looks great. In fact it's almost exactly what I wanted, but couldn't afford at the time.

That looks SWEET. I love those wheels and the stance is nice and aggressive, yet daily driver friendly.

Good job.

Nick, what size tires did you end up with? 245-40-18's on the front?
I'm buying a set of 18's for mine and adding same lowering kit.
You have mentioned rubbing in the front. Is this on the inside or outside of the inner fenderwell or both?

I am running a 245/45/18 i think. will check in the morning and post while at work... I am rubbing on the outside fender well but only when hitting a hard bump... since putting the sway bar back on not so much rubbing anymore... kinda nice... Wish you were closer to me and i would help ya on the drop... just make sure you have patience, beer, and someone to help ya and to keep ya company.
