Theres 4 places this ' truck ' is at right now. Part of it is at a DYNO SHOP. Its done and just waiting for the rest of ' things ' to ' catch up with it '.
Please go back and read the first message I started this thread with, it might explain whats being done and when it will be presented.
( very sincerely )
Thanks.

This thread is about an ongoing project I have been planning with input from about.. 15-20 people from this site. Its not a ' mines bigger then yours ' type of deal. Its NOT an argument, its not a ' well this is better then that.. '

Exactly . Even when its all said and done, there will still be some things ' un-mentioned '.
I had problems with some locals a while back and learned not to ' advertise '. Sometimes its best to just leave things ' unknown '. I could have run a 12.xx with a .080 r/t on the tree and a 1.61 60' time and posted a time slip of it.. I could have run a 19second ' fell asleep at the tree ' 3.0sec r/t .. Doesn't matter now, its all in the past. Its a new frontier for me.
Theres some things I just don't ' talk about ' and this happens to be one of those subjects I've learned to shut my mouth on as it often comes to haunt me. As time passes or snags are run into, sure, I will pop something on here and let everyone beat it up. :)
I'm not going to question anything you offer, nor am I going to consider it. Its not that your not worthy or noble, but the network of individuals I have been working with and the gurus from here have a history of success ( and some failures .. ) with beating up and fixing these trucks. Bits and pieces have been thought out and worked into the equation.. Certain things rely on another..
This has been in the works for about.. 2 years? I dunno, since I wasted the 3rd SOHC engine and realized its a wimp. Everything is planned and almost all the parts are purchased. The plan is in motion and I'm not going to sway from the path thats been started upon. I'm SURE theres better ways to do some of the things I will be doing but again, I'll wait till it breaks and have a second go at it then. :)
.. all done and in the past, no point in re-hashing it mate. No hard feelings held at all.

I'm glad you don't hold anything against me. I just read what you posted wrong. Sorry dude. I'm glad you're sticking with your network and parts gurus and your plans. I will be doing the same. A neighbor of mine didn't do that on his 92 Ranger and after looking at what he's done to it his may be a t total loss because he didn't do what you and I are doing and that's sticking to the plan and people who are helping us out. Like you said in another thread why do it when someone else can do it for you. You and I have a similar train of thought dude. I too learned that the hard way. Don't advertise what you're running. It will bite you in the *** in the long run as I found out earlier too. If we ever meet I'll take you up on those Buffalo Wings. I aint had true Buffalo wings since 2003.

I've spent the better part of the morning ' weighing-in ' on things. I want to have a good launching grip as well as lateral stability.
The math is really odd for weight transfer going in 2 sepperate directions, 90degrees away from each other.
Its not just carrying the weight, its the reaction of the spring or ' rebound '.
Thanks for the contact Chris/Gumby! I'm going to give them a call this coming week. I guess they do any kind of custom bending/treating?

I know the website looks a little hokey, but the program is legitimate. The program's old, but there really isnt much "new" stuff going on in suspension design.
Anyhow, Try playing with that program and see if it can't help you out a bit. You may want to look into Milliken's book on Ground Vehicle Dynamics or Wong's book also. They're geared towards engineers though, so be prepared.

The bed is all ( basically done, primed ( so it doesn't rust at all ) and ready to be painted. I need to get it out of the way to get the ' hunk of truck ' thats still together in there.
I'm wondering how heavy the cab itself is and if my cherry-picker and a nylon strap through it will lift it.
I'm looking forwartd to modding the tranny tunnel, moving the pedals and lowering the seats 2 inches.
I'm going to be moving my parking brake as well.. need to put in some supports to mount it to ( between the seats ).
I wish my new seats would get here already! ( then again, they will be sitting in boxes for a while so whats the point? )
Just some odd pics I did take today and yesterday..
The Client I assisted with in courts ride. NO, he won't let me borrow it but YES, he allowed me to ' check it out '. I drove it around the field behind his place there. It was QUITE different then what I'm used to.
Imagine if someone was charged with ' monster trucking ' some deserving ricer and then sued for it..
F650 with a BUILT powerstroke. The thing has some ( or he says ) 1500lb/ft coming out of it at the wheels.
Parts.. what they look like when we go to get them...
I still need more parts..

its not the same power stroke that is in the F350 or 250. International Truck has bigger power strokes, not sure if that is what they call them or not but they have much larger versions of the v8 you see in the 3.4 ton 1 ton trucks

I'm finished with the ' outside ' of the bed. I'm taking it to a local place to have it line-x'ed or rhinoed underneath. I started grinding down all the rust along the seams and such.
Little to no bondo/filler, all welds and a LOT of sanding. I hit one side with some spraypaint ( it has to be fully sanded again before being painted anyway ) just to see if the welds I did show at all. It came out pretty good for my first ' body work ' job.
While the bed is being coated, I have to move the ' hunk ' thats sitting on jack-stands/lifters in. The doors are coming off and then everything else will see an ' exit ' from inside. Its pretty light so moving it won't really be a problem.. get 4 or 6 of us and grab the exposed part of the frame and wheel it in like a wheel barrel.

Whoa...
Jesus D., How much have you spent on your truck lately? Please don't show your wallet like that, it makes me drool (L.O.L). So how goes the battle my friend? Mine is going OK. My neighbor (the dumb *** that he is) just hauled his stripped down ranger to the crusher. He got drunk, and decided to do the choppy, choppy thing on it and cut way, way too much out of the frame. Well fools have to learn the hard way. He should've planned this in advance and stayed away from the booze while he was doing the swap. Shame on him. You'll love the hell out of that truck lining. Dirt and debris will just bounce off of it and it does a hell of a job preventing rust. What kind of paint are you going to be using? Any ways just stopped in to see how you're doing and to say hello. Plus I can't wait to see the finished product.

I'm guessing that since you are going that far.. are you perhaps also going to take off the cab and undercoat it as well?
Nice wad of green up there as well... I remember the first time I had to pull out 3g's to pay cash for an item I bought a few years back, and had a gnarly looking wad sort of akin to that in my pocket.. almost scary carrying it around
Good luck with your supercharged, quad turbo, man eating, all wheel drive machine of death, destruction, and general mayhem.. *hah, I wish anyway*
Always a mystery... *sigh* =)
