i think the most bales i've ever wanted to put in the bed of a long box is around 50. i would like to see bales stacked 5 high over the cab of the truck. and hauling dual trailers?!?!? I've seen it done but not fully loaded with hay on both are you trying to wreck your truck for insurance money?

yea, 580 bales at what? 80lbs each? I want to say its more than that, but if it is... thats 46,400 lbs.. 23 tons? i think thats a wee bit more than it can haul, nevermind it would have issues starting and stopping..

x 100,000

an F-450, a NEW one, 5th wheel, is only rated to pull 24,600...

that's a 450, more powerful, far greater capacity... and its talking about the 5th wheel, I dont think he is.

thats DOUBLE the weight(if it was on the dry side), on a far smaller truck

capacities for the 250 with a 6.4.. 12,500 (his 46,400 is almost quadruple the suggested limit of an 8 year newer truck)
