Believe it or not, I have had this setup-up for about 2 years now, LOL... Rides like $h*t, but surprisedly no problems!

During this time: I've mobbed the beaches and dunes of San Felipe & Rosarito/Ensenada, torn up the off-limits areas and mud holes of Proctor Valley, ran Gunslinger & Bronco Flats of Corral Canyon several times, mud & sand dragged out past the hills of Tecate, explored unknown trails of Mt. Baldy & Big Bear, made my oun trails in the SD area I live in, jumped 5' and climbed blowsand at Ocotillo Wells, ripped around Gordon's Well & Glamis, moved 2 households, and has been my daily driver!

...anyway, it has been an absolute surprise and amazment that it is still running and has had no problems... especially since I picked it up from a local junk yard for $2000 3 years ago.

I decided to pay a little extra and have the kit professionally installed. I believe I could do it myself with a little help from some buddies of mine, but I figured since I paid so much for this kit and all the extras, I might as well pay a little more to know for sure it is done right. This way, if anything goes wrong, someone else is liable. So, I definitely think a $500 professional install is well worth the warranty and pece of mind for a $6000 set up.

I am only because I am going with fiberglass fenders and bedsides. Otherwise, I think the flares add a mean look to our Rangers. Speaking of... I now have a set of used and a brand new set (still in box) of Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender fender flares that I need to get rid of. (Open my profile page and you can see what they look like.)

I have 2 sets for sale:

1. used, painted sivler (some minor scratches), front-good, rear-okay
2. new (in orig. box), black (ready for paint), all hardware (screws & molding strip tape)

Price: I paid $400 for each (cheapest I can find online now - $350).
1. best offer (+ shipping or pickup)
2. $200 (+ shipping or pickup)

I will also have other stuff for sale once my LT install is complete!

$500.00 is a great price for install. Woolworth out of Las Vegas (who has done quite a few Dixon kits) charges roughly $1,000 and Aaron who makes the kits quoted me $600.00 a while back. You will have to tell me what you think of the 650# coils. My 700# coils are doing great, but I wonder how much of a difference 50# would make. You will enjoy it when it is done. BTW, I installed the axles last night. Not too bad but still a PITA, good call on the professional install.

Thanks! I am real curious and can't wait to experience the ride quality. My shop advised me to double rate the coils, but at my price ticket I couldn't afford to spend any more. So I went with the middle of what Arron advised, 600-700lb, and got 650lb coils. But, double rating is definitely something that I will do as a future mod.

I asked Aaron about doing a dual rate setup and he advised against it. He stated that (in his experience) the 4X4 trucks seem to need the heavier single rate spring to maintain the proper ride height. I also had one shop tell me that it would be difficult to do a dual rate setup on an 8" stroke shock because it is hard to find the appropriate coils. Not saying that it can not be done, but it appears that it may not be as easy as it sounds.

Unfortunately there was a minor defect in the fenders. They are being re-made and hopefully they will be done by Saturday.

They are, aren't they? I always have thought this kit looked so nice and strong looking, but after finally seeing it in-person for the first time... well words can't be explained!!! The quality of this kit is so much more than I expected. Pics and reviews just can't do justice... it has to be seen first hand! Definitely recommend for every Ranger!!!

Nice man! See if they'll sell you the "messed up" fenders... You never know who might buy them and fix them for their own rig on here

For the rear, I plan on starting with some Deavers (haven't decided on F31's or G50's) and upgrading my shcocks. Eventually, I will cage the bed and go with some coilovers in the rear as well.

I will be selling the stock fenders (silver, in great shape) as well as 2 sets of Bushwacker fender flares (1 set - used, silver, 2 front good, 2 rear okay; 1 set - new, in box, black, unpainted, perfect). I will post a "For Sale" thread for all the parts I am getting rid of once my install is complete.
