I agree with the low-pro one. I'm going with a polished one cause it will match my rims. Vanxnxtweek's is really nice I saw his today. He got it for like $180 too!

I just installed some the other day, cost me 9 dollars at harbor freight for 2. I love mine, they're bright as hell and are pretty durable. I made a thread about it here: https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=65636

Wow that is pretty damn good for 9 dollar lights! Screw getting the PIAA's or the RECON's lol. I would get 4 and put 2 on the back and 2 on the side! Freakin want everyone to see me! All the lights I find around here are crap tractor lights compared to those. Whats the maker of them?

Just looked up Harbor Freight and theres one about 45 mins away! I'm going 4 of them up sometime and do the mod lol.

I can pick you some up this weekend and ship them to you, there having a big parking lot sale so they might be even cheaper. I doubt shipping will be more than 10-15 bucks so should be cheaper than gas.

LoL if there wasn't a Harbor Freight closer to me then I was going to ask if you could pick me up some and I will pay for the price of them plus shipping. But I work at the airport so its actually 15 min away from my work! Thanks though! I am going to get 3 packs. 2 for me and one for my dad, because his round sealed tractor lights don't shine up to well. I'm going to put 2 in the rear and find a good spot to put one on each side underneath the cab to light up the sides, lol. I just bought my center console so Until I get that in I'm going to hook them both up to the reverse lights and then hook them to a switch so I can shine them up when going down a fire trail at night! screw paying 135 for the PIAA's!

8.8 Ford Explorer Axle Swap in the Future

Well I just looked underneath on my diff cover to see the axle I have, I thought it was a 8.8, but it says 73 75. NO I don't want a 7.5! Well looks like I will be doing an Explore 8.8 Axle swap with some 4.10 or 4.56 with a True Trac limited slip. Just some questions. The 8.8 will be a bolt on to my 2wd drive shaft? I know I need to weld on some new shock mounts and adjust the brake/parking lines for the disc brakes. Do I need an explorer master cylinder as well?

Well still searching for a 8.8 axle but i think i need to wait for my funds to come up and do everything at once. Today I just fixed my Mt. Bike and was going to go for a ride, but my chain broke and I am so pissed about it that I'm just going to take it to the bike shop and have them do it. I think im a 'tard but I can never fix the damn chain right. O well. Any ways I'm dying to mod something so I was thinking of replacing my black bumper with a chrome 4x4 and a valance with some fog lights. Any thoughts or on it. I am thinking of getting a light bar from Defender series racks. You don't have to drill into the bumper just mounts underneath through the valance opening and it can hold up to 3 9" lights

I LOVE a chrome upper bumper and a 03 painted valance with fogs. Thats what I swapped onto my truck after I wrecked it. Here's a crappy pic of it:

Yes Trent I have been looking at your truck and thinking of doing it I spent way to many hours over the whole idea! Did you get the 04+ chrome bumper and the 01-03 Valance or 01-03 Chrome bumper? Looks like Ceritfit is the way to go as well.

The 04 chrome bumper and the 03 chrome bumper are the same thing. I ordered the 03 bumper and valance though. I think it was like 70 for the bumper and 40 for the valance if I remember correctly. Then the fogs were like 30 each.

I agree you should go with a new bumper and valance. I think it would make the front of your truck look soo much nicer .

Great. I think I should keep it Textured, It would look a little goofy with it painted to match with my color green. What do you think?

No I don't have fender flares but I was just looking at your truck with And I like the look of the 04 bumper and the flares and of course yours came with the truck from factory but I was wondering if I could pull something like that off with my truck. I think I will stick with textured and not worry about painting it, I would be flipping out about rock chips every second i drive it. lol And If I wanted to add fx4 flares if I add a body lift then It will all match. I think I will stick with the 04 valance too but still not sure I think the circled fog lights flow better with the front end better.

Yeah I like the round fogs too, I always have. So I got them lol. My valance is unpainted right now and still looks good, it comes a black plastic.

yeah I have a few scratches in my valance and they would look way worse if they were in paint. and not painting it is saving you a little money for another mod later on. if i had my choice i would probably go with the circle fog lamps I agree they flow with the headlights a lot better especially if you were to get the black headlights like 04blackedge has.
