Yep 8.8 Explorer Axle w/ 4.10 gears and LS. Thanks to joshyx for selling it to me!

Here are a few things I need to do before I swap it under the Ranger:

Brake rotor's, pads, and Calipers, as well as brake linse if needed.
Find some one to weld on the Spring perches and Leaf Spring mounts from Ruff Stuff
Paint it in Rust-O-Leum Black
New Diff Cover from Ruff Stuff powder coated silver.
6" Skyjacker Springs
Belltech Chevy Drop Shackles
Change the oil out and make sure there are no problems with the gears and axle shafts.

After I get it installed and all setup I will swap in new 4.56 gears and a new LS. But I think these 4.10 will be good for the time being unless I see something different when I open up the cover.

LoL. I had to go through a Boarder Patrol checkpoint with the axle. They never looked in the back. But I was kinda worried they would and think it's something that's not supposed to be in the back of my truck.

Thanks! I paid $300 for it. (I'm not putting a price on how much it was for the trip because I wanted to go and see Palm Springs and so on.) As I looked around here in San Jose at Junk yards and so on I would have gotten ripped off. Some places wanted $375-$600 when they said it had this and it wasn't what they said it was. I hate dealing with people who try to rip you off. But I can't wait to start getting going on this project. I hope to notice a big improvement in power and get off. Right now it's slow with the 3.73.

That's a great looking axle man!! Those rotors look great..the whole axle looks great man. Locally...i've been almost unable to find a cheap good looking little cleanup axle.

I love the local U pull it....$115 for a rear end. They have 3...no 4 explorers out there w/ 8.8's and discs there!! And if i felt like pulling one on labor day weekend, it would have been $67!! 1/2 off labor day sale. woot woot!!

God i love you truck man. Shaping to be one killer ride. Shaping? no....ALREADY is a killer ride man.

I have looked all over Self pull junkyards and had no luck and not paying more then $400. I also found some on local craigslist ads but they pulled everything off and would result to me buying more stuff or going to more self pull junkyards to get the missing parts. So I am happy Josh posted it on here and was in state and not on the other side of the country.

I'm in no means a welder as well. But My uncle is a good welder, but I'm going to ask 4wheelparts to see if they can do it for me, If not I will find another shop that can do it.

If the axle still has the ABS stuff in it....you still keep the abs from my understanding.

Im happy you like the axle Jordan. I hope everything ends up being in good shape once you pull that cover off. For those of you that haven't seen Jordan's truck in person, it is truly badass...It is put together very nicely...Definitetly one of the cleanest trucks i've seen in a while.

I'm waiting for the parts from Ruff Stuff. Then the ball will be rolling a little faster then. I hope.
