Fubar's Ranger

2003 Ranger XLT, 5 Speed
Orig Owner, 258K miles

With the damage from deer, turkeys and a drunk coworker, and some extra days at work I figured now is as good as a time to start bringing it back. Parts include, 03 Edge grill, 04 Edge lower bumper, Orig 03 XLT upper bumper, new shocks(senitracs) on front, Max Air's in the rear, Building the In-Cab guage pod and switch for rear shocks, Step side tool box(50$ and it sits in the bed) 17's wrapped in 225/65's(175$ for all four with the rims!!!!!!) Roush front and rear sway bar kit, 7.5 LSD(free!, just needs clutches :( ) On order- 1.50 spacers, 1 Gal air tank. Still hunting for 2 inch drop springs, and need to flip rear shackles. The truck has a CAI, but it was cheaper to piece this together than replace the factory system. So far, 519$ invested(minus truck)

The 04 lower bumper had to be trimmed to fit the 03 XLT upper, the compressor, valves, dryer and tank will be installed inside of the tool box. The second pic is tear down, I do not have a clear pic of the damage to the orig grill, but there was no lower part left, and the outside frame of it was busted up. Most of these upgrades are cosmetic, but the mechanical ones are support mods for the SC262 engine I am almost finished with, and that swap will be later in this topic. The engine to come- 95 4.3 Vortec I started to build for my 87 Fireo, but first child on the way had to sell it. bought a 04 VW Passat. The engine was needing a home, and my 2.3 is down to 160PSI on compression. The truck is a daily driver, with the occasional towing of the Datsun. The SC262 has a Eaton Gen III blower with bypass valve. I have the Valve set for 3500RPM, to keep with daily driving MPG, No trans yet, but will probly be a GM 5 speed. Supra 440CC injectors, custom fuel rail. GM 7730 ECU with cyclone PROM, custom upper intake.

Without the upper intake, making sure it will line up with belts/runners, bit of a teaser.
