The console Bob posted? Thats not from a truck with a manual case, its just the normal manual tranny non manual case dual cup holder console. The same console came in my truck factory.

Sorry I didn't see the picture on the first page.

That is not like any other console I've ever seen though......the filler plate is not for a manual case though.......I'm kinda confused. I be interested in seeing one of these in the vehicle so I could get an idea of what it looks like......so hurry up and put it in.

lol.....if you would pay attention

i don't really care about the cup holders by the shifter because i am going to be running a shorty center console.......the good thing about this one only having one cupholder is anyone setting in the passanger seat can have the power inverter plugged in (for a laptop) and since it is small enough to fit in a cup holder (and shaped like a cup) it wont take up a spot in the center console...

BTW: i plan on doing the swap NEXT weekend....i should have all the parts by Tuesday...

lol.....i am guessing that is a stock slave.....since it was Bob's old transmission (out of his Level II), i doubt he put junk parts in there......i would assume that is to keep the fluid off the clutch if the slave goes.....

na.......as bad as the slaves are on these transmissions, i didn't want to take a chance (and Bob recommended that I replace the slave)......he had to replace his factory slave after about 18,000 miles....

swap is done......it was easier than i thought it would be......my brother and I did the swap in about 10 hours (8 after our 2 hour lunch break).....all the bolts came out easy, none were stuck.....

i will finish up the How-To sometime this week......

How do you like it?
I've been toying with the idea of doing the same, is there a noticeable gain over the auto?
Anyway good job and your rig is awesome as always.

i love it......i wish i would have bought the truck with a manual in it....

the truck is 100% difference with the manual transmission....the truck has more torque/power now with the stock tune and manual transmission than it ever did when it had the 93 Torque tune (X2) and automatic transmission.......
