someone wanted pics of the steering shaft so here it is,



and this is 3/8 inch steel that serves two purposes it gussetts the track bar mount and also helps to gussett the frame where i notched it.

whew,yeah the shocks,they should be on soon,i have not had alot of time to do the little things yet,but they are first on my list,by the way i would like to give a public thanks to you zach for helping me out with everything.
I have a quick ?.. i noticed you had to cut your frame out like a "C".. Is that only with a Mazda? I have been looking at other's sas'ed rangers and they did not have to do that. i was just wondering why you had to cut?
its all on how you make the coil mounts on the top.
with the D30 its almost too narrow, the springs will hit the frame. mine do that from time to time. i recommended that he do that if he wants to stick with the D44. I just beat my frame with the sledge hammer until it didnt rub as often.
when i switch to my D44 i will move the mounts out about another inch for some extra space between the frame and the coil.
